Mark your calendars for Little Dribblers on January 30!

• Bible - Boyhood of Jesus; growing in wisdom
• Verse - Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.”
• Spelling - Review vowel teams: -ea (long e), -oa (long o) and -ai (long a)
• Reading & Phonics - Read “Where Does Food Come From”; review vowel teams, introduce Author’s Purpose
• Grammar & Writing - Review nouns, adjectives & verbs, complete sentences, practice marking sentences; writing a paragraph; ABC order
• Math - Math facts, centimeters, combing coins, ¼ and ½
• Science: Where food comes from

• January 12 - Cross Church Together at Fayetteville Campus
• January 20 - No School (MLK Day)
• January 30 - Little Dribblers - This is a basketball routine that 1st grade will perform during chapel time.  We’ll send more information soon.
• February 14 - Valentine’s Day Parties at 2:30

Please remember to send heavy coats for recess.  Also, in class, students need to have a navy sweater, sweatshirt or jacket.
