Regardless of the season, the SuperControl development team works year-round to ensure your account is running smoothly. In March, we had many exciting updates for you. We welcomed the launch of our new enquiry form wizard and some helpful improvements to our integration with Holidu. Don’t worry if you missed this news; we’ve provided a summary below. We’ve also been busy working on an assortment of improvements, maintenance and busting some pesky bugs!” - The SuperControl Development Team Enquiry Form Wizard A new enquiry form generator has been launched, blazing a trail of control and customisation. With a modern design and mobile optimisation, the improved form wizard allows you to create customised enquiry forms. While our previous form sat on a template with pre-set data, the new enquiry form wizard allows you to customise the data you wish to collect from enquiring guests and display the changes on your own website. Holidu Integration We’re pleased to share that we’ve recently updated our integration with the platform. With a whole host of additional features on offer, the enhanced integration will give you more control and save you bucket loads of time. If you have more than five bookable properties, you could benefit from global exposure, brand recognition and direct bookings. Enquiry Status Options You can now create new enquiry status options to help with enquiry management. Payment Link Update The payment link from within a booking that you send after a booking has been created was previously showing as pre-filled with the main booker details. The guest data will only be pre-filled on the payment pages when the guest makes the initial booking from your website and is directed to pay. Payment Summary Emails Card holder details have now been added to the payment summary email. To help defend chargebacks we have logged the details of the person who made the card payment on the payment summary email. Balance Due Date for TripAdvisor and Airbnb bookings For TripAdvisor and Airbnb booking, you are paid after arrival. To ensure your payment reminders aren’t cluttered with bookings that you aren’t expected to be paid yet, we have amended the data yielded so they will show based on arrival date rather than your balance due date settings. Booking.com Error Handling We have improved how Booking.com display any errors on our integrations page so it’s clear where attention may be needed on your listings if they become de-listed or unbookable. New Auto-Email Criteria for Confirmed Bookings When setting up an auto email, we have added new schedule criteria for “if booking is confirmed”, enabling you to further customise your guests booking journey communications. Repeat Auto Email Settings A new tick box has been added so you can choose to have the system re-schedule and send repeat emails if dates change on a booking as shown below. iCal Booking Error Logs You can now receive alerts for bookings that can't be imported through iCal due to dates already being blocked off in SuperControl. Cross-updating Assurance We’ve completed a series of quality assurance tasks to ensure cross-updating is running as expected. Payment Failures We have been seeing a higher number of payment failures with Yapstone and Opayo. We are working with their teams to help resolve these issues. Booking.com Onboarding We have improved how we connect your existing listings to SuperControl which will reduce the time is takes for you to wait for them to go live. Booking.com API Updates Booking.com has made some background changes to their API which we have implemented to ensure the integration continues running smoothly. Voucher Deductions in Guest Login Previously, vouchers were discounting the booking value in a booking differently to the guest login. We have now fixed this, so the calculation and deduction are consistent throughout. Late Availability Discount API Changes We have updated the late availability discounts, which weren’t displaying correctly within our new APIs used by some of our newer booking channels, such as Plum Guide. Booking Search Report and Refunds Anomaly There was an isolated incident where refunds were not displaying correctly within the booking search report. This has now been fixed. Airbnb Copying Data We have resolved a complication with Airbnb where copying data using the default mappings setting was not being recognised in some instances. Auto Add Booking Extras Issue A fix has been added where there was a calculation discrepancy when a booking extra is set to auto add based on booking duration. Populate to Prices Button There was an error showing when clicking this button within Agency > Edit owners (commission rate varies seasonally setting) which has now been corrected. Large Image Errors There is a process to follow when uploading images into email templates to avoid errors. Visit our Help Centre for more information. Early Booking Discount Copy We have resolved an error where the early booking discounts were not copying in some scenarios to other properties. Auto Emails for booking.com Bookings There was an issue where auto emails were being removed when booking.com was cancelling a booking. A fix is now in place to stop this. Future Revenue Report In some scenarios, the balance due date was causing miscalculations in the future revenue report. This has now been corrected. VRBO Review Replies Not Displaying We have resolved the issue whereby replies to reviews were not showing within a VRBO listing. |
