Altrincham BID
New Reballot Timeline
All BID levy paying businesses will have received the BID Reballot Newsletter Issue 2, either on email and delivered by hand, in the last week. The newsletter explains the new BID reballot timeline when all BID businesses will be asked to vote on whether they wish the BID to continue for the further 5 years. The newsletter can be read here.
The BID funded steam clean of the pavements outside the businesses on The Downs and part of Ashley Road was carried out last week. This is part of the ongoing programme of deep cleaning which the BID is funding throughout the town centre.

#ActiveAltrincham
September Social Media
All the BID's current social media campaigns are about keeping Altrincham and its businesses firmly in the hearts and minds of the community in the 'new norm'. Active Altrincham highlights the health benefits of active travel and has positively profiled some of the town's businesses. We've featured individuals who have changed their habits during lockdown as well as some who have always enjoyed walking and cycling.
#OfficeDogsofAltrincham
August Social Media
The Office Dogs campaign highlighted the benefits for health & well-being of bringing your dog to work, as well as providing an opportunity for the town's businesses to be positively profiled and to communicate key messages. We will be building on this with a 'Dog Friendly High Street' campaign highlighting the shops and businesses that are happy to welcome dogs over their thresholds. If you would like to be included, please let us know on email.
Goose Green Festival 2021 Save the Date!
In the week running up to the August bank holiday weekend we ran a social media campaign profiling the businesses in Goose Green, keeping the festival and the town at the forefront of people's minds, and encouraging people to 'save the date' for 2021! If you're at BID business and starting to plan activities for next year, please let us know on email and we can support your marketing.
The Halloween activity has evolved to ensure that it is in line with current Government guidance. There will be a town trail from Tues 27th-Fri 30th Oct. If you would like to be involved, and you have enough space to accommodate a pumpkin that could be easily seen from the street and your business is open on those days, please let us know on email. The BID will also be dressing the trees on Shaws Road with a Halloween theme.
