Fit For Office WebinarEach year in Australia, around 30,000 tonnes of commercial office furniture is discarded from offices and sent to landfill. A consortium consisting of Edge Environment, the Global Product Stewardship Council (Global PSC) and GECA have been awarded funding under the National Product Stewardship Implementation Fund to tackle this issue. Recently, we hosted our first webinar to provide an overview of the 'Fit For Office' project. Our goal is to see 'Fit for Office' established as an industry governed and accredited stewardship scheme by 2023. Click below to view the full webinar. The project's next step is to run an interactive workshop with key manufacturers/importers and suppliers of commercial office furniture in the Australian market. This is open to both GECA licensees and non-licensees. We need your involvement and engagement, so please contact paula@geca.org.au if you would like to join us. 4 Key Steps To Writing A Sustainable Procurement PolicyDeveloping a sustainable procurement policy is an important and worthy goal for any organisation or business.
