CPC's Mother & Son Piano Benefit: Meet the Artists Reception

The Chinese-American Planning Council was honored to host our "Meet the Artists - Kickoff Reception" on July 31, as we continue celebrating CPC's 60th Anniversary and our legacy of service to New York's immigrant and low-income communities.

The evening offered an exclusive preview of the upcoming Mother & Son Two-Piano Benefit Recital, featuring an exceptional performance by Michelle Chen Kuo and her son Christopher Kuo, who also serves as a dedicated CPC Board Member.

This intimate gathering brought together community partners, supporters, and friends to reflect on CPC's six decades of impact and to look ahead to a remarkable event at Carnegie Hall on October 3rd.

“My mother and I are proud to serve the Chinese-American Planning Council by presenting this recital. We believe in the power of music to bring people together through a common language, and we hope to honor CPC’s incredible 60-year legacy through our performance," said Christopher Kuo.

A special thanks to Nan Xiang Soup Dumpling for generously catering the reception and making the evening even more memorable.

All proceeds from the recital will support CPC's essential services for immigrant, low-income, and AAPI communities across NYC. We are grateful for the support of the Host Committee members: Cheng and Michelle Kuo, Janice Won and Raymond Won, Lucy Chan, Richard Cao, Rick Hu, and Virginia Kee.
