Party time!
Schools up and down the country were out in force celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with themed lunches and activities such as dressing up competitions and tea parties.
Elington First School in Northumberland was just one of the schools we worked with during this time to help them create a spread fit for a Queen. With Quorn coronation wraps and Quorn sausage pizzas taking pride of place on the menu, the team did themselves proud.
It’s great to know that we’re adding value and support to the schools we’re visiting and thank Pip Forsyth from Belsay First School for her comment following our support of their Olympic menu this month. With the children getting their hands dirty and helping create a truly athletic lunch -
‘Fasta Pasta’ with Quorn mince – it went down a treat.
“Thank you for a fantastic session. Your input has been valuable for the school on many levels. You have not only extended our children’s knowledge on healthy eating and Quorn, but got the children, teachers and catering staff involved in the production of ‘school meal time’ and understood the importance we place on creating positive meal times.”
