Queen's Baton Relay Join us in celebrating the arrival of the Queen's Baton Relay to the Town of Victoria Park for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games on Saturday 24 February. Enjoy free family entertainment while experiencing sporting history with your chance to see the GC2018 baton up close. The community will come together as the Queen’s Baton makes a splash in Burswood in a special journey by water-ski along the Swan River, onto the banks
of the foreshore, culminating in the baton arrival at Telethon Community Cinemas. Featuring live stage shows, acrobatic performances, sporting activations, children’s entertainment, face painting and a very special performance by Australian icon Billie Court.
