Finance Forums

Are you the only finance worker in your organisation? Maybe you don’t even have a paid finance worker, but you manage the money as a volunteer, or you are the Treasurer? If that sometimes feels a bit of a lonely place, we’re introducing some ‘Finance Forums’, where you can get together with those in other organisations, to compare notes, seek advice, and help you feel a bit less isolated.

They will be led by a member of WYCAS staff, so there will be expert advice on hand!  The first one is in Bradford and we plan to have one in Kirklees later in the year – keep an eye out for your invitation! If you would like one in your area, drop us a line via email

If you would like to express an interest at this stage please e-mail us with your name, organisation, and where you are based. We will add you to our mailing list and get back to you after Easter with more details.

Dates for Your Diary

At WYCAS we work alongside many other infrastructure and support agencies, helping to develop the capacity of the sector.  One of these is Locality, a national organisation who provide support to community organisations and who are doing some exciting projects in West Yorkshire.

They are having their national Convention in November in Leeds and it’s worth getting the date in your diary now as it promises to be a really interesting event.
