LifeStream Appoints Four to Board of Directors

LifeStream, Inc. recently named four new members to its board of directors at the 2015 annual meeting.

Joining LifeStream’s board are Eric Braitmayer of Fairhaven, MA; Robert Dowd of Westport, MA; Waleed Meleis of Lexington, MA; and Barbara Weatherford of Portsmouth, RI.

Braitmayer is currently the CEO of IMTRA Corporation in New Bedford. He is a former board member of the Lloyd Center for the Environment in Dartmouth, MA, and serves as a trustee of the Braitmayer Founation. A graduate of Bates College, Braitmayer resides in Fairhaven.

A former LifeStream board member and Chairman of the board, Dowd’s professional career included 42 years as a coach, administrator and Athletic Director in the Department of Athletics at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He also served as the Commissioner of the Little East Athletic Conference. He resides in Westport, MA.

Meleis is a member of Northeastern University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is the founder of Enabling Engineering, a student group that builds low-cost devices to help improve the lives of individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities. Meleis received his BSE degree from Princeton University, and his MS and PhD degrees from the University of Michigan. He resides in Lexington, MA.

A returning member of the LifeStream board, Ms. Weatherford is an Assistant Professor and Department Chair in the College of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She previously served as Vice President for Patient Services for Southcoast Hospitals Group. Ms. Weatherford received her Nursing degree from Syracuse University, her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Maryland, and her PhD from the Graduate School of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Worcester. She resides in Portsmouth, RI.
