This is the first delivery of The Digital Pigeon™. TDP is a quarterly collection of articles and interactive content sourced from both well established and emerging players in the digital technology, convergent media and early stage venture industry.

We had a great response to our first industry network survey, thanks to everyone who participated. From speaking with many of you over the last few weeks, I know many of you have been looking forward to seeing the results and better understanding how the economic downturn is percieved to be effecting our industry.

It is important to remember that the sample space for this survey was exclusively in the digital media and technology sector, and all answers were anonymous. We think this survey is quite unique in that we have the advantage of being able to compare answers from both our Australian and San Francisco networks, and it makes for some interesting reading.
