SAMRI giving back for you mental healthA free mental health program has been put online by SAHMRI to help people cope with the stress and anxiety created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Interested? Visit www.bewellplan.com Mentoring support for startups and scaleups impacted by COVID-19In response to COVID-19, FIXE has set up an informal FIXE Mentor Program connecting startups and scaleups with highly experienced business people to provide advice as you navigate these challenging times. Find out more about the program or register your interest. Working at home expenses: What can I claim on tax?Dealing with extra costs as you set up shop at home? The Australian Tax Office have issued advice on what is (and isn't) an eligible expense to claim as a deduction come tax time. They also have a new short cut method to make it easier. Visit the ATO website. Essential information for Lessees and Lessors dealing with COVID-19.The South Australian Government passed the COVID-19 Act on 8 April 2020. It makes various temporary modifications to the law of the State in including stopping evictions. Note: In addition to these measures in the COVID-19 Act, National Cabinet has announced a Code of Conduct. The implementation of the Code in South Australian is still being considered and information about implementation will be released later. A copy of the Code can be found here. COVID-19 in SA: DashboardThe Government of South Australia has launched a new tool to update the community with the latest COVID-19 case statistics. The COVID-19 Dashboard collates information from across state government departments to keep you informed.
