30 Days of Action

Share

After today’s Climate Change Crisis Forum, you may be thinking, “What actions can I take to address these grave issues relating to climate change?” If so, you are in the right place! Starting today, you can join the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society in taking action on climate for 30 days. During the 30 Days of Action, which will culminate on Earth Day, April 22, Episcopalians will learn, advocate, act, proclaim, eat, play, and pray, all in the name of climate action.

Taking part in these 30 days is quite simple. Each day, participants will receive an email suggesting they partake in a particular action related to environmental stewardship. The actions will be suitable for individuals of all age groups and are meant to challenge, encourage, and inspire you.

By taking intentional action together, we can declare our commitment to protecting God’s creation and become even better stewards of this earth.

Here’s what you can do to participate in 30 Days of Action:

  1. Check your email and social media! The action each day will be revealed through daily emails and on The Episcopal Church’s social media accounts. Follow on Facebook “The Episcopal Church” and on Twitter @iamepiscopalian
  2. Tell your friends! Share this movement with your friends, family, and congregation. Tell them to sign up for the daily emails here
  3. Share your action! Take a picture during your daily action and share it on social media using #Episcopal #30Days

For your first day of action, we want you to “share.” Share this opportunity to take action on climate for 30 days with your networks. Let the world know you are a part of this movement.
