Trade fairs and conferences

You will find meteocontrol at the world’s most important photovoltaic trade fairs and conferences. We recently attended the 2017 Solar Show Africa and the 2017 Solarex Istanbul trade fairs. Many fruitful discussions emerged from our dialogue with customers and industry colleagues, and we were able to establish a number of interesting contacts.

Markets

We work around the world:

meteocontrol Japan Corporation officially began operations on April 3, 2017. The newly established company offers our full range of products, enabling us to strengthen and continuously expand our competitive position in Asia. More details about our joint venture in Japan are available here.

We have the monitoring solution for every market, as this current example from South Africa demonstrates: In Cape Town and Bloemfontein, we implemented monitoring functionality in four rooftop systems with a total output of around 1.4 MWp. The project was carried out in cooperation with the South African EPC partner Sustainable Power Solutions (SPS). You will find more information here about our project in South Africa.

New messaging system: Notify your customers

meteocontrol has developed a new messaging system for the VCOM. You can use it to display important information to your users in the VCOM.

Administrators have the option of creating messages that are displayed to all users when logging in for a defined period of time.

Messages that have been marked as read can be viewed in the VCOM footer under the menu item Help/Messages.

This feature is available for all partners with service-level Professional and Premium.

New standard user group

The response to the VCOM standard user group introduced in December has been tremendous so we have set up another user group.

The group Customer will be renamed Technical Customer starting with the April release. The users in this group continue to have access to the system configuration.

The new group Customer has restricted access rights. Users in this group are able to retrieve all information about the systems, including, for example, the diagrams in the evaluation section, but they do not have access to the system configuration.
