With your feet firmly planted in 2016 the next obvious question is, “What’re we drinkin’?” Let us offer a pair of beautifully unique winter brews to help answer that.
Deathwish
Our American style pale ale brewed in collaboration with Moment Ski Company. It’s the perfect brew to enjoy after hitting the slopes. It pours with a gently hazy golden to light copper body and hits your nose with fresh aromas of pine & spice, with herbal and grapefruit citrus. This beauty is available on tap and in 22 oz. bottles at both our brewpubs and at select stores in California and Nevada.
Mayan Maybe Not
This is our fourth incantation of a brew that began as a tribute to the end of the Mayan Calendar. We continue to honor their rich ancient culture, using ingredients they cultivated - cocoa, chile peppers, vanilla bean, honey, and maize. The result is a chocolatey, bittersweet, spicy, and smoky sip. Available on tap and in 22 oz. bottles at both our brewpubs and at select stores in Nevada.

Some of our newest fans might not know this, but each and every Tuesday, from open to close, we turn the law of supply & demand on its head by offering our award-winning brews for a skimpy $3* a pint. So raid those couch cushions for loose change and we’ll see you next Tuesday.

Quite a number of those that have a passion for craft beer have been anxiously awaiting news of the 2016 release of our Scytale Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. Be strong of heart, we’re rounding the corner towards the finish line. With this release you’ll enjoy many nuances in flavor to reflect upon with each sip. We’ll have more to share soon. You won't be disappointed.

The Icky Pickle - Nevada Brining Company brines these fine pickles with Ichthyosuar "Icky" India Pale Ale and pairs the bitterness of the hops with organic Juniper Berries. Though this is their newest release, it's quickly becoming their #1 seller! Find them at fine retailers in the Northern Nevada area and soon at our brewpub locations. We've changed our famous Willy Dillys at our brewpubs to these fantastic pickle chips - let us know what you think!

Argentum Single Malt Gin - Brewed by GBBC, fermented and distilled by Seven Troughs Distilling, this sipping gin features fragrant Mandarina Bavaria hops and other botanicals for a bright, citrusy finish. Available at Seven Troughs Distillery in Sparks, Nevada.

WARM COATS for COLD BEERS
In cooperation with the Salvation Army, we'll be having a coat drive on January 27th at both Reno and Sparks brewpubs. Bring down warm clothes and coats for our neighbors in need and we'll give you a free pint of Great Basin beer. We'll also be having live entertainment from 6pm to 9pm. Talk about instant karma.
OPEN MIC NIGHT RETURNS
The longest-running open mic comedy competition in the Reno/Sparks area has returned for the season! Prepare a PG-13(ish) 5 minute set and show us what you've got each Thursday starting at 9pm at our Sparks brewpub. If you'd like to perform, show up early to get on the set list.
CELEBRATOR 28th ANNIVERSARY PARTY
We'll be there as the Celebrator Beer News celebrates its 28th year with its annual beer fest from 4pm to 8pm at Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley, California. This party is the Grand Finale for SF Beer Week and not to be missed. More than 30 breweries will pour their favorite beer. Attendees will be able to meet Celebrator staff and writers, brewers, brewery owners and beer industry luminaries.
