The Nest has seen lots of glorious Olympic action live on TV during the London Games and with the close of these and the Paralympics underway, it has been a truly memorable sporting Summer for Great Britain.
Not quite so for our Summer weather however, we picked one of the best evenings for our Tuscan Night with weather to match these sunnier climes and we all enjoyed the pasta dishes and pretended we were on holiday for one night!
Looking ahead to September, we have another supper evening - this time a 'Curry Night' and following this, a very special "Bond" evening. Please read on for more details of both these events.

To celebrate the forthcoming 23rd adventure of James Bond 007, we will be hosting a sumptuous gourmet dinner, generously sponsored by The House of Bollinger Champagne, and supported by the Director of Skyfall 007, Sam Mendes. (More ...)

The Food
Our Head Chef is preparing to make changes to our seasonal menu.
From the 1st of September, our weekly game dish will be available.
Starting with Grouse, followed by Partridge and Mallard. Wild Sea Trout, Crab and Lobster appear in this season's dishes, whilst Lamb, Veal and Suckling Pig along with Rib-eye Steak, make up the meat section.
Baked Peach Parfait and British Raspberries tempt you on the puddings and to see out the Summer, Pimm's Jelly is a favourite on a warm day!
Hope we have more of them to lead us into the Autumn!

Real Ale selection: Severn Vale's Luverly Jub'lee (4.2% ABV), Ringwood's Best Bitter (3.8% ABV), and Purity's UBU (4.5% ABV).
On Draught: Peroni, Amstel Lager, Guinness and Thatcher's Gold
Somerset Cider available on tap.
