JUNO BEACH POLICE OBTAIN STATE ACCREDITATION

Having shown that they have and continue to maintain the highest levels of professionalism in Law Enforcement, the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. an independent reviewing authority, has recognized the Juno Beach Police Department as being in full compliance with their required standards.

Chief Brian Smith, along with his Command Staff, attended the February conference in St. Augustine and received the plaque showing their accredited status.

Our Juno Beach Police Department joins the Jupiter Police Department, Palm Beach Gardens Police, the Palm Beach County School Police, Tequesta Police Department and numerous other law enforcement agencies throughout the State in having obtained this prestigious recognition.

Accreditation, in conjunction with the agency's philosophy of community policing, commits the agency to a broad range of programs that directly benefit the public. It creates a forum in which police and citizens work together to control and prevent crime and helps the community to better understand the challenges that confront law enforcement.

The Juno Beach Police Foundation congratulates Chief Smith, his staff, and all the men and women of the Juno Beach Police Department for having achieved this difficult goal.

Coffee with a Cop March 1, 2023

Coffee

Coffee With a Cop brings police Officers and the community members they serve together each month – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other. No long speeches. No agenda. Just fun and casual but educational conversations enjoyed by all.

Juno Beach does it every month and for March it's on Wednesday, March 1st at 9:30 AM on the Town Center patio.

Welcome Police Officer John Friscia

At the January Town Council meeting, Chief Smith and the Town Clerk swore in the newest member of the Juno Beach Police Department - Officer John Friscia.

John joins the agency from New York where he served both with the Department of Corrections and the NYPD.

The Juno Beach Police Foundation welcomes Officer Friscia to the Town and wishes him a long and successful career with our Police Department.
