A ministry partner in Nepal reached out recently to say that they were setting time aside to pray for the USA, and we were deeply humbled by their love and support. They then asked us to share something particularly meaningful to us about our American culture.  Immediately, what came to mind was our Thanksgiving celebration. We had the opportunity to present a short video depicting the origins and establishment of this very special day – a day set aside to thank our Creator – something quite unique among the nations of the world.

Thanksgiving is also a wonderful opportunity to express our thankfulness to each of you who have stood with us this year through your prayers, service and financial contributions. Your participation has been a significant factor in seeing the love of God expressed to those in need.  Given all the uncertainty and challenges we have faced this year, the benefits of cultivating a grateful, thankful heart cannot be overstated.  Trusting in God’s goodness and faithfulness establishes a deep-seated rest and peace that remains secure when nothing else does.   As we observe Thanksgiving, may our hearts overflow with thankfulness to our Heavenly Father.
