CARP Members in Brantford & Hamilton Invited to Discuss New Pension Plan Options for Ontarians

Susan Eng with Minister Sousa and Chapter Reps at Queen's Park, calling for enhancements to CPP

CARP Vice President, Advocacy, Susan Eng, and Hamilton & Brantford CARP Chapter Chairs, will be leading an informal Town Hall for CARP Members to engage the Ontario Finance Minister, Charles Sousa, in a discussion about the Canadian Pension Plan, CARP's call for an improved CPP, and Ontario's plan for a new Provincal Pension Plan.

All CARP Members in the area are encouraged to attend and meet with Minister Sousa.

The event will take place, this Monday, February 10th, from 2-3 PM at Laurier Brantford -  the Brantford Campus of Wilfred Laurier University.

You will likely know that CARP has been campaigning for enhancements to the CPP for some time now, and the most recent opportunity for the Ministers of Finance to improve the CPP came and went at their meeting in December.
