Spotlight on Swedish life science

Seven Life Science companies are highlighted when the Swedish magazines  ”Ny Teknik” and ”Affärsvärlden” present the 33 most promising technology companies in Sweden.
Eight of the top 28 biotech companies in Sweden is located within Karolinska Institutet Science Park, this is an acknowledgment that the science park offers a stimulating environment.
On the International level, we congratulate Pål Nyrén, professor at KTH, who is nominated for European Inventor Awards.

ACCESS Health launches a Innovation Program for entrepreneurs with ideas for the elderly

The non-profit organization ACCESS Health International is looking for 20 entrepreneurs with promising ideas for the elderly to recruit to a 4-month innovation program that is taking place August-November 2013 in Stockholm. Within the scope of the program, the entrepreneurs will be supported in taking their idea from idea stage to a business-ready concept. The program will bring together elderly care entrepreneurs with strategic partners, industry experts and investors to tackle real challenges in this growing sector. The best innovation will win a start-up capital of 50.000SEK by the end of the program.

The city development projects in Hagastaden get a new website. The new site will take better care of visitors and ensure that they find the information and contacts they are looking for, whether they are a company who are looking for establishment  in the new district or a private person who is in search of an appartment.


Bokavård.se winner of Health 2.0 Stockholm pitch competition

The network Health 2.0 Stockholm arranged a pitch competition at the Vitalis conference in Gothenburg.

A strong lineup of six companies and entrepreneurs showed their exciting IT-based solutions for healthcare.  Bokavård.se with a solution for booking and payment of your healthcare appointment online was selected winner by the renowned jury.
