New Carpet, New Paint, New Walls, Oh My!

Time has flown by, and the renovation of our first floor is nearly complete!  The new carpet installation has begun, and the hallways are being transformed with new paint colours.  The new lighting in the foyers is nearly finished, and the remaining hoarding walls will be ready to come down in the coming weeks.

Canadian Country Music Week

Country Music Week began in 1977 as an annual event created to heighten awareness and increase exposure for Canada’s country music artists. Today, Country Music Week is made up of three components:a music festival, which includes a Songwriters’ Series, talent showcases, a full-day FanFest, a Legends Show that pays tribute to Canada's most cherished country artists and a cabaret party where country fans can let loose; the CCMA Awards Show, which is a two-hour live, television special highlighting a year in country music; as well as an industry conference which allows the Canadian country music industry to honour those working behind the scenes via educational workshops and seminars, networking receptions, awards ceremonies and more.

Infection and Immunity Research Forum

The Infection and Immunity Research Forum is an initiative organized by the graduate students of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University. Prominent scientists will be invited to present their research within the scope of infection and immunity. This research forum will also provide undergraduate students, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows with a platform to showcase their own research as it pertains to the theme of infection and immunity.

Mega Biz After 5 at the London Convention Centre

Twice a year The Chamber holds a MEGA BUSINESS AFTER FIVE PROGRAM; traditionally in the spring and in the fall.

The cost to exhibit at a MEGA BAF is $179.00 plus HST. The main difference between a MEGA BAF and a Standard BAF is the number of participants. A Mega will traditionally see 50-100 exhibitors and an attendance of 300-500 people.
