4th Grade eNews

We are working hard on the Patriotic Program.  We can’t wait for you to see it! 

• Bible - We will be studying the consequences of sin.
• Memory Verse - James 5:16, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed.  The urgent request of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.”
• Spelling - We will study R controlled vowels this week. Ex: share and tart(ar)
• Reading - We will begin our new novel City of Ember   .
• Language - Compound sentences, conjunctions, and using a and an correctly.
• Math - Metric Measurements and factors.
• Social Studies -  This week we will continue to focus on the Southwest
• Region.
• Science - We will be learning about electricity and magnetism.

• November 7 - State floats are due
• November 7-11 - Book fair
• November 10 - Patriotic program(8:30)

We will go outside everyday. Please be sure your child brings a labeled coat.
