PreK eNews

We had another wonderful week in PreK!  We reviewed letters and letter/sounds and numbers to 13.  You will find a progress report in your child’s folder today. 

Have a safe, restful, wonderful Spring break! We look forward to hearing about the adventures and family fun when the children return to school!

• Bible Verse: Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
• Bible Story: Peter Walks on Water
• Reading/Phonemic Awareness:  We will introduce the letter and sound of “W.”
• Math:  #14
• Unit:  Butterflies
• Show and Tell: Bring something that begins with the letter /W/.

• March 30th – Career Day – Students dress in clothing that shows what they may like to be when they grow up!
• April 3rd - PreK Transition Meeting from 11:00-11:30 in the CMR (Cafeteria Meeting Room)  This is especially for parents who are sending a child to Shiloh for Kindergarten next year, but would be beneficial for anyone wanting to know what to expect in Kindergarten.  This is a great day to bring your child a special lunch and eat with us.  (Our lunch time is 10:30-11:00.)
• April 13th – Easter chapel/Speech Meet
• April 14th – No school in remembrance of Good Friday. Shiloh Christian would love to invite you to attend our Good Friday Worship Service on the Springdale Campus at 7:00. 
• April 20th – Mark your calendars!  Our PreK classes will be performing during chapel at 8:30 in the Worship Center.

• Please send a water bottle with your child each day. 
• Snacks: Monday through Friday – Cereal, goldfish, crackers, or pretzels
