UPDATES REQUESTED

 

Once again hurricane season is here and FSLSO is asking all Insurers to update their catastrophe contact information as soon as possible.   

Why?  In case of a catastrophic event, Florida’s insureds often look to FSLSO for help. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to have  correct contact  information on file.  It only takes a moment to complete this form electronically in SLIP.  

How?  Just log into SLIP and select File Catastrophe Data located under the Reports tab.

FILING REMINDERS

Alien Insurers: 

Please don't forget that the 2016 premium report (filed electronically with FSLSO pursuant to Section 626.931(4), Florida Statutes, for alien insurers) is due no later than 06/30/2017.  The specifics for this reporting requirement are available in our Insurer Procedures Manual.

In the event no business was conducted in Florida during 2016, a notification of "No Business" is required.  Please submit your "No Business" notification through  SLIP.  If you do not have a SLIP account, email insurer.services@fslso.com. Be sure to include your contact name, company name, NAIC number, address, city, state, zip, phone and fax number.  A SLIP account will be provided within 48 business hours.

 

Foreign Insurers: 

Please don't forget that the 1st quarter 2017 premium report (filed electronically with FSLSO pursuant to Section 626.931(3), Florida Statutes, for foreign insurers) is due no later than 06/30/2017.  The specifics for this reporting requirement are available in our Insurer Procedures Manual.

In the event no business was conducted in Florida during the first quarter, a notification of "No Business" is required. Please submit your "No Business" notification through SLIP.  If you do not have a SLIP account, email insurer.services@fslso.com. Be sure to include your contact name, company name, NAIC number, address, city, state, zip, phone and fax number.  A SLIP account will be provided within 48 business hours.
