Elvis at 21: the last time Elvis traveled as an average citizen. This exhibition was National Portrait Gallery's greatest performing exhibition in recent years and just realized nearly 40,000 visitors at Savannah's Telfair Museum of Art. Photographs by Alfred Wertheimer.

Between Midnight and Day: witness blues legends in rare photographs during the first blues revival that have inspired so many artists and movements alike. Images of these great musical artists in clubs, at the Newport Folk Festival, along with candid shots behind the scenes. Photographs by Dick Waterman.
