Dear Music Lover, Last month was an exciting start to our 2014 concert season and this month isn't any different! We are delighted to introduce you to our new Ensemble in Residence - Lyrebird Trio - who will perform for the first time at the Con. This month we also welcome back QHorns. After an exciting 2013 which saw QHorns score two wins at the International Horn Society’s Horn Ensemble Competition in Memphis, Tennessee, they are back with a number of exciting performances this year. It is an exciting month for piano fans with two Kawai Piano Series recitals: the celebration of Pamela Page's Birthday and Steve Newcomb's jazz recital, and the next Medici Concerts performance. If you are yet to attend one of our free Lunchtime Concert Series performances this month is your chance to do so with seven performances being held, with everything from Wind, Strings and Brass events to MuTech, Piano and Jazz events. See you at the Con soon! |
