Pharos Course Price Increases

Karen Cummings, Managing Director

Dear Student,

A message from our Managing Director, Karen Cummings:

As a loyal and valued customer of Pharos Tutors I am writing to you today to give you advance warning of price increases on our courses later in the year.

Our prices have remained at the same low level for many years, some for over a decade, but administration and other costs have increased in line with inflation. In order to be able to continue delivering you the same quality you expect and deserve, we will be increasing prices in line with inflation. In one or two cases we have also made adjustments to simplify our pricing structure so, for example, all non-assessed 4 week courses will now cost the same amount.

The increase in prices will become effective on 1st November 2021. Across the board the increase will average around 14.5%, an increase of £5-£12, depending on the length of the course and whether it is assessed. I can assure you that these prices remain competitive.

I would also like to take the opportunity to tell you about some improvements to our services that we are currently working on, at no cost to our customers. We have a lot in progress in the background, working on our technology, generally upgrading things and improving the forums and chat rooms to make these more seamless to access. We are also working on a major website upgrade that will make finding courses and the information you need far easier.

In order to show appreciation of our current customers we would like to give you the opportunity to take advantage of current course pricing before the increases take effect.

We have therefore added new course dates for the end of 2021 and into 2022 to the website, to enable you to take advantage of current prices. All purchases made before 1st November will be honoured at the current prices, so we highly encourage you to make your purchases soon to take advantage of this.

The Pharos Tutors team greatly appreciates your continued business and support.

Best wishes,
Karen Cummings
