Community effort for Bishopdale Village Green Development

Stage One of the Bishopdale Village Green is almost completed with one final concrete pour and a tidy up to go before the community start looking at Stage Two and what that could be.
The project is the result of the community working together with sponsors, the Community Board and Council staff.

The Bishopdale Community Trust, Bishopdale Centre Association and community volunteers and mates from the Menzshed have all contributed, ably lead by Bill Greenwood and Lindsay Dell of the Enliven Bishopdale Group to get the work done.

The development of the site also includes a mural on the wall of the building alongside the site.  The mural will be a joint project between artists, local schools, sponsors and the Council.
