ATTENTION...BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE AT A PARKING NEAR YOU!

What if this opportunity included co-workers, family or friends from local churches...perhaps a team-building exercise for local business? What if a pathway was created for you to work side-by-side while practically demonstrating God’s love to people impacted by disaster — without the need to travel to the disaster zone?

This is exactly what Hope Force International has done! Working together with the guidance of skilled leadership, you can help erect the walls of a 1,200 square foot home designated for disaster survivors who have lost everything. Can you imagine the hope that your selfless service will inspire in the hearts and lives of survivor families?

Creating a pathway of service has been a central tenet of Hope Force since its inception in 2003. This vision of lowering the barriers and opening up a pathway for volunteers has inspired much hope in those we have served...as well as in the lives of those who have volunteered.

PRE-FABULOUS: BUILD A HOUSE...INSPIRE HOPE!

Hope Force has taken on the challenge of creating a new pathway of service! In South Carolina, Disaster Services Director, Joey Stoltzfus — along with family, friends and co-workers — erected walls of three 1,200 square foot homes going to western Kentucky — the site of the December 2021 tornado that decimated the communities of Mayfield and Dawson Springs. Pre-planning, coupled with the staging of materials and skilled carpenters taking lead, were essential to the execution of the task. The walls of these homes were erected in an afternoon and later loaded for transport. The fellowship, joy and camaraderie shared was palpable as they knew that their effort would minister deeply into the lives of survivors.

BUILDING THE WALLS

Please consider partnering with Hope Force International and sponsor a “Pre-Fabulous” event with your group. For just $17,000, you can help to build the shell of a 1,200 square foot, 2- bedroom home — from the subfloor up. This includes windows, exterior doors, shingles and transportation to site.
