Dear ,

We're almost at the end of Term 2!

Of course you shall all be taking a well earned break ready to come back to exams and we shall be running some articles in the May edition about looking after yourself in the exam period. In the meantime please remember that your brain will take more in if you look after yourself - this involves sleeping well, taking breaks/exercise, keeping rehydrated (and away from energy drinks) and eating healthily (after all the of the chocolate Easter eggs). These things are easy to forget when you are concentrating on exam season!

Sadly this will be my last newsletter as I finish this role in April. Don't worry, Sue will be back to keep you informed of what's going on. It's been a great privelege to work with a number of you over the last year on some fantastic events. Thank you all so much for joining in and supporting me.

Diversity Week 2016

Well done the International Students Council and to everyone who took part in the Diversity Week activities. There was a Sports Day, the International Food Fair, a Talent Hunt and the Model United Nations. VIPs, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor attended the glittering Diversity Ball on Friday evening which saw tickets sell out in record time and was a true testament to the diversity and talent on campus. Put the date in your diary for next year, you really don't want to miss it!

Holi celebrations

Congratulations to the Asian Society for such an amazing and successful Holi event. It was great to have Holi celebrated on campus even if the grass outside the RAM may take some time to recover!
