Effective Friday, October 28th a new QR Code reader (known as FastAccess) will be a part of the Eagleton gatehouse entry system.
Most homeowners are already using the GateAccess.net service that allows for the preregistration of guests and contractors that will be coming to your home.
With FastAccess which is currently only available to those living in Eagleton, homeowners can now Email or Text an entry pass to those who will be coming to your home. Please note that FastAccess is not currently operational in The Island, Preston or at the outer perimeter gates at PGA National.
The entry pass can be set as either permanent or with an expiration date. When the recipient of the entry pass comes to the Eagleton gate, he or she simply shows the pass on their phone or printed out, and it will be read by the gatehouse QR code reader. If it is their first visit they will need to show their driver’s license, and a full record of their arrival is then automatically entered into the system.
The implementation of this new technology is expected to significantly speed up the entry process at the gate.
Instructions on how to use FastAccess are on the Championship website as a .pdf file so that you can easily print it out for easy reference.
