Riding forth on the green wooden sheep!
|
|
|
It is the Year of the Sheep (Goat, Ram) - symbol of the Arts - a year that will move communities to get working together in harmonious co-existence and tranquility. Co-working, nuturing each other, banding together - towards a common good.
It's also a green, wooden Sheep! Our Network colours! In our Beaufort Street Network community we are well and truly back into the swing of all things Beaufort! We have a lot of exciting projects and events planned for 2015 and we can't wait to get co-working with our members and riding on the green wooden sheep's back to make it all happen!

Beaufort Street Art Market set for a revamp!
|
|
|
Beaufort Street Art Market is looking to the future in changes announced this week.
Established in 2014 to promote local artists and create a vibrant, colourful and dynamic event on the first Sunday of every month in the Barlee Street Car Park (cnr. Beaufort St and Barlee St) Mount Laweley.
We are looking at new ways to operate and manage the market with a process already underway. We aim to build on the success of the Beaufort Street Art Market and create an exciting place to come on these Sunday mornings.
The free outdoor Beaufort Street Art Market offers a unique chance for local artists and creatives to display their wares in a market stall, suitcase display or fence gallery display. All products are Western Australian made, with art from our local area the top priority.
The next Beaufort Street Art Market is scheduled for
Sunday 1st March 2015 - 9.00am - 1.00pm
we will see you there!
Artists, stallholders and interested parties should email
hello@beaufortstreet.com.au for further information or visit the Beaufort Street Network's website at www.beaufortstreetnetwork.com.au

Did someone say American BBQ?!
Next month we will welcome new neighbours to Beaufort Street offering delicious dessert cocktails, American style BBQ and mouth watering mac and cheese with a twist. Side Door BBQ will be on everyones lips!
Chef Rob (originally from the Bronx New York) & Misty, a husband and wife, Back of House, Front of House team look forward to bringing an authentic American dining experience to Perth. They say the only thing missing in our lovely town is real American BBQ and Sweet Tea - soon to be corrected as they follow their dream of living in Perth and bring the concept to our Beaufort Street doorstep very soon! Side Door BBQ will be featuring smoked meats and Southern Hospitality.
Beat the crowd and be the first to check it out, it's located across the road from Mary Street Bakery
