Arts Victoria’s Organisations Program Review – Have your say
As announced in the December eNews Arts Victoria is undertaking a comprehensive review of its Organisations funding program and is now in the consultation stage.
In order to capture a wide range of views and expertise, consultation will take a number of forms and the information gathered will help to shape the refreshed Organisations program.
As part of the consultation activities, Arts Victoria is encouraging the arts sector to participate in the Online Arts Sector Ecology Survey. This survey seeks your view of the 'Big Picture' - the current issues and trends facing the Victorian arts and cultural sector - and ideas of how arts and cultural organisations can be best supported by Government. The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is open for submissions until Friday 30 March 2012.
You can also post any ideas throughout the process via the Review’s Suggestion Box.
For more information and full details of the consultation process, go to the Organisations Program Review page of the Arts Victoria website.

Happy birthday to you (and us)
This December it will be 40 years since the Arts Victoria Act was passed, which led to the establishment of Arts Victoria. We're pretty excited about this milestone but we know 2012 is a special year for many arts and cultural organisations and groups out there.
This year the Old Treasury building marks its 150th anniversary, the Australian Ballet celebrates the big 5-0, the Victorian College of the Arts hits 40, Dancehouse celebrates its 20th anniversary and Ballarat Arts Academy is 10 years old.
We’re putting together a feature story for our website about all the anniversaries that will be celebrated in 2012 and we’d love your input. If your organisation is also celebrating a milestone this year, please drop us a line to let us know at E: eNewsartsvic@dpc.vic.gov.au
