RESA July eNewsThe recent state government announcement that Tesla has been selected to provide battery storage for South Australia has seen a lot of interesting conversations about technology and disruption - par for the course when one of the world’s biggest serial disruptors, Elon Musk, is the one making the announcement. workshop, we invited business architect and futurist Andrew Leunig
to present on the topic of disruption, and what struck our participants as particularly relevant was the importance of having a “Blue Ocean” strategy - of positioning your company in an area where you’re not competing in a cut-throat, race-to-the-bottom market. That’s where Musk sits himself, and if you can successfully plan a Blue Ocean strategy - or find a new blue ocean for your products – you will be able to set the terms for your business. We further explore Blue Ocean strategy in this month's blog post, could your business benefit from a change of thinking?
