Tennessee to Take Center Stage at AIA National Convention

UT NEW NORRIS HOUSE NAMED WINNER of a residential architect AWARD

The New Norris House, a LEED-certified project designed and built by UT students and faculty, has received an award of merit in the single-family housing category of the 2012 residential architect design awards. MORE.

ALUMNI CLAIM AIA SMALL PROJECT HONORS

AIA Small Project Awards will be claimed at the AIA National Convention by UT alumni Brandon Pace ('97) and John Sanders ('97) of Sanders-Pace for their project, Cape Russell Retreat. The work will be exhibited alongside Ted Shelton's ('93) award-winner, the Ghost Houses, a project completed by UT's Shelton and Tricia Stuth; recently highlighted in Dwell.  MORE.

ARCHITECTURE ALUMNUS KEITH BOSWELL NAMED FELLOW of the AIA

UT Alumnus Keith Boswell ('80), the technical director of architecture at the San Francisco office of SOM and a member of the UT CoAD board of advisors, is named a Fellow of the AIA. MORE.

GRADUATING SENIOR to BEGIN APPOINTMENT on AIAS BOARD of DIRECTORS.

Brent Castro, who joins UT's alumni upon graduation this May, will begin his appointment as the vice president of the board of directors of the AIAS. This is the first time a student from UT has been named to this national board. In this role, Castro will also be a voting member of the ACSA. MORE.
