Partnership with Padnos International Center

Padnos International Center Logo

The CCPS-Undergraduate Advising Center is working on a joint project with the Padnos International Center to assist CCPS students with exploring opportunities abroad. The staff of the CCPS-UAC are working to locate courses offered through GVSU partnership programs abroad that would fit into CCPS programs. These courses will be evaluated by the academic units. This will create an extensive list of pre-approved courses to help students identify programs that would be most appropriate for their academic goals. New advising guides are also going to be created to assist students in each CCPS program with how to navigate the study abroad process. We are excited about this partnership and will keep you posted!

In the Spotlight: I am Grand Valley

spotlight

"I am Grand Valley" is a leadership recognition program for GVSU students. The program recognizes student leaders who are the essential elements of the University community, including student employees, leaders in student organizations, resident assistants, students that excel in the classroom, and so on.

Friday, December 7, will mark the last day for faculty and staff members to nominate students for this year’s “I Am Grand Valley” campaign. Nominations can be submitted online.

The only requirement is that nominees must be enrolled in fall and winter semesters. They will receive a certificate with comments from their nominator and an “I am Grand Valley” T-shirt.

This year’s campaign marks the 10th year, and is dedicated to recognizing student leaders on campus. More than 1,600 student leaders were nominated last year.
