Welcome to our August issue of your territory newsletter! We will keep you up to date on all jnjg’s latest news, events and golfing tips.

It has been a busy few months at JNJG with the introduction of the new MyGolf Program, the Sporting Schools Initiative as well as numerous junior golf events across the state.  Check out all of the junior golf news below....


Juniors on the Move Program Makes it to Forbes


Head Professional at Forbes Golf Club, Daniel Newton, has been hard at work encouraging juniors in the region to take up golf. Recently he hosted the first ever Juniors on the Move event at Forbes and it was a great success.

New Equipment Gifted to Junior Golfers

The juniors at Mudgee are loving their new golf shoes!!  The shoes were just some of the junior golf equipment that JNJG CEO Peter Van Wegen delivered to the PGA Professionals in the Western parts of the state in June to get more children playing golf.

Holiday Golf Program in Dunedoo


During the last school holidays children in Dunedoo were able to take part in a holiday golf camp with local golfer Sharon Nott.

Sporting Schools Initiative in Young


PGA Porfessional at Young Golf Club, Phil Cartwright, was on board to help school students in the town learn the game of golf through the new Sporting Schools Initiative.

Talent Identification Day for WRAS


The Western Region Academy of Sport recently held their Talent Identification Day to select ther 2015/2016 Golf Squad.  They received some great publicity in the local media.  Check out the action from the day by clicking here.


JNJG Junior AM Raises $8,500


Thanks to the help of generous sponsors and golf clubs JNJG and Golf NSW managed to raise $8,500 to develop junior golf in the host region of the Subaru State Championships.  This is the second year JNJG has hosted this event and it is a promising sign for the future with participants, sponsors and local club members enjoying a great day out. Spring and Davidson Claim Honours at State Championships


The Subaru State Championships are one of the biggest events on the JNJG Tournament Calendar but unfortunately this year the silverware travelled home with Kiwi Henry Spring and Queenslander Karis Davidson.  Check out all the action from this year’s championship hosted by the Illawarra Region by clicking here.


2015 Junior Masters Series Continues to Thrive


As we reach the second half of the year the JNJG Junior Masters Series continues to attract a large number of junior golfers.  In May and June we hosted two more events at Kew Country Club and Campbelltown Golf Club.  Read all about these events by clicking the links below:
