The intent of the series of ICD-10-CM webinars is to provide a mechanism to learn and apply ICD-10-CM in “bite sized” segments in the comfort of your own office. The overarching objectives are to enable participants in the series to:

1. | Identify basic similarities and differences between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM code sets.
| 2. | Identify the key organization and structure of each chapter within ICD-10.
| 3. | Describe an overview of the codes within each chapter of ICD-10-CM with emphasis on the more common codes used in in-home health.
|
4. | Discuss unique requirements within each chapter related to specific body system or topical areas.
|
5. | Incorporate the information from ICD-10-CM general and chapter specific guidelines within the discussion of each chapter.
|
6. | Participate in mini practice exercises based on the content of each session to demonstrate appropriate application of accurate coding for each topical area.
