Service Desk person

New AskIT portal launched today

The new AskIT portal is active as of today. The new portal will improve the service we provide you, and we had to replace the old portal because it was nearing the end of its service life.

You can keep any shortcuts you have made to AskIT, the link has remained the same.

You may notice a slight delay in response from the ITS Service Desk while the team gets more familiar with the new service tool.

We encourage you to use the portal, instead of email, to log faults and submit requests. The portal captures helpful information the Service Desk needs to assist you promptly. 

For more complex issues and requests, we still recommend calling the ITS Service Desk.

We appreciate your patience during this transition.

What will happen to jobs in the old portal?

The ITS Service Desk will continue to process jobs that were logged in the old AskIT portal. You will no longer be able to view these jobs as we were unable to migrate them into the new portal. We will still send standard email notifications about these jobs, or you can contact us for an update.

Find answers to common IT questions and problems

Use the search function (top right) to look for knowledge articles and FAQs. We will be adding more knowledge to the portal over time to provide a first port of call for staff; a place where you can find answers to common IT questions and problems without having to wait in queue.
