Registrations Now Open for Pop-Up PHN in Darwin
Northern Territory PHN (NT PHN), in collaboration with the Northern Territory General Practice Education (NTGPE) Mobile Offices, is hosting Pop-Up PHN in Darwin.
Pop-Up PHNs target general practitioners (GPs), nurses and allied health professionals, and include a networking dinner on Friday, 16 June and a Continuing Professional Development event on Saturday, 17 June.

HealthPathways NT Update
NT PHN has recently launched the NT HealthPathways initiative in Darwin and Alice Springs through a series of workshops for local clinicians. The draft website was unveiled to participants, followed by facilitated sessions for health practitioners to discuss localisation of the pathways.
What is HealthPathways?
HealthPathways is a web-based portal with information on referral and management pathways to help clinicians to navigate patients through the complex primary, community and acute health care system in Northern Territory (NT).
HealthPathways is designed to be used at the point of care by GPs and is a free resource for all users.
It is aimed at general practitioners, but can also be used by hospital specialists, practice nurses or managers, community health providers, and allied health professionals.

Respiratory Workshop
Nurse, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and all other NT health professionals are invited to the Top End Health Service Respiratory Workshop. Participants will develop their knowledge and skills around prevention, early detection and management of respiratory conditions in acute and community settings.

palliAGED Resource For Palliative Care In Aged Care
Although people are living longer than ever before, living longer does not mean living forever. With an ageing population, we need to consider how we support older Australians as they approach death.
A new resource is being developed to ensure palliative care guidance is current, readily available and accessible. The resource will be called palliAGED.

Gout Patients Needed For Research Project
Researchers at the University of New South Wales are seeking gout patients to learn about the cost of gout to Australian households. Participants will complete a survey on their out-of-pocket expenses that gout places on their household. Participants will not be paid but will enter a lottery to win a $200 gift card.
