Next Week

Bible – We will study Elijah. Our story will come from I Kings 17:1-16.
Verse - Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Reading – Our new skill will be “Conclusions” in a story. We will be reading “Click, Clack, Moo - Cows that Type.”
Spelling – Words with s and es endings:
hens eggs ducks bikes boxes wishes dresses names bells stamps dishes grapes jets frogs stitches fences
Grammar – Compound Sentences
Math – We will continue to review “Borrowing” and work on timed test for our subtraction facts. We will also be working with three digit numbers and place value to hundred’s place. Please make sure you are reviewing addition and subtraction facts through 18 at home with flash cards. Students should know each math fact answer within 4 seconds of seeing the problem.

November 13-17th – Turn in Operation Christmas Child Items – more information to come
November 22-24th – Thanksgiving Break – no school on these days
December 6th – Class Pictures – regular dress code
December 7th – All School Christmas Chapel – 2nd Graders will be singing during this chapel – 9:15 in Worship Center
December 15th – Christmas Parties from 12:15-1:00pm – Early Dismissal – NO EXTENDED CARE
