Tiny's Tipple

Tiny’s Tipple is an independent bottle shop offering on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton. Tiny, a small family dog with distinctive ears provided the inspiration for the theme of the shop. We acted as design consultants on the interior walls, ceilings and counter finishes as well as the lighting throughout and the window dressings. We also produced the artwork for the brand logo.

Qdos Game

Following on from our interior design and branding of gym QDos, we have now produced an online game bringing to life one of the main characters, Tred, as featured in the graphics throughout the space in action with his sidekicks. We once again hooked up with local illustrator Moot to conceptualise and art direct the gameplay and working with our good friends over at Corporation Pop developed the game using HTML5 Canvas. By using HTML5 the game can be played on a wide range of devices including tablets, mobiles and desktop computers ...Read More

Twenty Twenty Two

This month we were back on site photographing our recent bar design project Twenty Twenty Two. NoChintz consulted on the overall interior design of the space, installing four dedicated ping-pong tables and using flashes of colour to highlight the original features in the space. We have continued the ping-pong theme with a bespoke light and branded ping pong balls and paddles as a wall feature that artists will be invited to paint, evolving over the coming months. We also provided retro Danish furniture and vintage industrial pieces to update the seating areas, and continued the existing use of reclaimed materials through to new pallet walls and a back bar installation ...Read More

NoChintz Visits: Hamburg

NoChintz recently went to Hamburg to explore some of the hotel concepts that we've been hearing good things about. Designed as a home away from home, the cabins and all of the rooms at the 25hours Hotel Hamburg Hafencity are warm and cosy. The hotel takes it's inspiration from the harbour and local shipbuilding history shown through design details including shipping containers and a check-in counter comprised from creatively stacked wooden crates. The interiors tell the stories of 25 seafarers from around the world ...Read More

The Mirror Ball 2014

We are once again joining forces with our friends over at The Mirror Ball by providing design direction for the event. Last years Mirror Ball was the most successful to date raising over £14,000 for Forever Manchester and this years is set to be an even bigger celebration, as the event is helping Forever Manchester celebrate their 25th Birthday. Hosted by Andrew Trott-Barn at The Lowry Hotel on the 7th March, The Mirror Ball 2014 is sure to be Manchester’s most star-studded event of the year. We’ll have images and all the news from the night on the NoChintz blog next month.

COMING SOON:

Look out for next month’s newsletter, we’ll be revealing our interior and branding work for dock10 and we’ll have our latest pint design work for Asda; bringing a taste of spring with the Asda food showcase and a look ahead to summer with the George clothing collection look book.
