State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister to speak at our next meeting

The North Central Florida Tea Party will hold its next meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2015.  State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister will speak to us about the pending bills in the Florida Legislature that will deal with our abilities to keep ourselves and our family safe and secure.  The Florida Legislature goes into session on January 12, 2016 and will be voting on bills such as Open Carry and Campus Carry.  He will also discuss the pending changes to the “Stand Your Ground” law.  As we learned last month, it is crucial that we have elected sheriffs who will do everything in their power to ensure that our rights are protected.  It is equally as important to have a State Attorney who understands the Constitution and follows it as he makes his decisions.
Please come out and meet some like-minded people whose concerns are to make this country a better place to live in.  We will have copies of the latest editions of the American Patriot News, other information on other issues facing us.  We will do a Presidential Primary Preference poll as part of a united effort around the state of Florida.
We meet at the Taylor Building, 128 SW Birley Road in Lake City.  This is approximately 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley Road.  For more information go to www.northcentralfloridateaparty.org

Right now we need someone to deliver in Ft. White and could use several people to help get the papers out in the Lake City area.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  I hope you have made a resolution to make a difference this year in restoring our country to its constitutional roots!

Some of the things you can do:

Attend  tea party meetings, the local REC meetings, John Birch Society meetings,  and any other like-minded groups that are involved in trying to change things.

Attend County Commission meetings and School Board meetings.  Let your representatives know how you feel on the issues they are discussing.

Write letters, make phone calls, send emails to your elected representatives and let them know how you would like them to vote on the issues.

Go on Facebook and Twitter and inform people of the issues.  This is a great way to get information out to a lot of people very quickly.
