Click here July 20, 2020 Deadline to use Outlook for email and calendars is Aug. 4The expansion of multifactor authentication via Okta for more WSU services such as Zoom, Office365, Blackboard and Canvas will take place Aug. 4. As a part of this upgrade, all WSU accounts will be required to use Microsoft Outlook for accessing WSU email and calendars. If you are already using Outlook (Office 2016, Office 2019 or Office ProPlus), you will only have to adjust to using MFA to login. For many Apple, Mac and iOS users, this email and calendar change will likely provide a different user experience. Please contact the WSU Vancouver IT HelpDesk to get help with this transition to Outlook or to get answers to related questions via phone or Zoom videoconference. Drive-through Graduation Celebration set for Aug. 62020 graduates will have the opportunity to drive through campus from 2 – 6 p.m. Aug. 6 to pick up a diploma cover, commemorative commencement program, a tassel and their honor cords/stoles if they earned them. Volunteers are needed in one-hour shifts to add spirit to the event by waving the Cougar flag. Volunteers will work in teams of two at proper distance, are asked to wear cougar gear and will be given a WSU Vancouver-branded face covering. Outdoor Wi-Fi coverage expandedA summer project has added 10 more outdoor Wi-Fi access points. Most key outdoor areas now support Wi-Fi. The project was made possible by the Student Technology Fee and the work of Vancouver IT in partnership with Facilities Operations. Purchase parking permits online starting next weekYou may purchase your parking permits online beginning July 27. No permits will be sold in the Parking Services Office. If you plan to use the payroll deduction option, do so by Aug. 25—no payroll deduction requests will be accepted after that date. Parking Services will no longer hold Orange permits for faculty and staff. Last year Orange permits sold out in 10 days, so plan accordingly.
