Nominate a charity to receive an NBN RNR

We're celebrating the launch of our newsletter by awarding one deserving non-profit organization a national radio news release with a media value of over $30K.

But we need your help to determine which non-profit gets the millions of radio impressions that are up for grabs.

Nominate your favorite charity or cause by tweeting the organization’s name and web-link to @NBNinc, or posting to our Facebook page. Be sure to include the hashtag #NBN and #PR with your tweet. Here’s an example tweet:

@NBNinc - I nominate the ASPCA for a free radio news release for their terrific work. www.aspca.org #NBN #PR http://t.co/JJGYt9t

One lucky org will be awarded an NBN AudioMax RNR, including full production and distribution via our daily drive time feeds on the AP, Westwood One, CNN, MarketWatch, CNBC and NBC radio networks, delivering approximately 1,000 broadcasts and millions of national radio impressions.

The winner will be chosen via a random drawing on April 27th and announced via our Twitter and Facebook feeds.

Noteworthy projects

We've been hard at work supporting our clients' broadcast and new media outreach-- here are a few recent projects.

EPK, MVR & B-roll

For Google’s groundbreaking YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011, NBN created a custom NewsInfusion.com EPK, executed a Multimedia Video Release and distributed B-roll of the finale concert from the world-famous Sydney Opera House.

Satellite media tour

The Biggest Loser's Alison Sweeney turned her attention from people to pets after a visit to the vet revealed that her beloved dog Winky was overweight. During the SMT, Alison challenged dog owners to get their pets in shape, and share their success stories for a big payoff. The SMT weighed in at a hefty 31 interviews.

Remote webcast

NBN broadcast a live remote webcast of The Pull-Ups Potty Dance Party, a concert from the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The one-hour, three-camera event was streamed to 15,000 viewers and 10,000 house parties. Get your groove on here.

Online distribution

When Jaguar North America was recognized as the J.D Power 2011 Customer Service Champion, NBN sprang into action, creating a custom NewsInfusion.com EPK, distributing a Multimedia Video Release, and pitching the story to automotive outlets across the web, resulting in coverage from Automotive.com, WeeklyDriver.com, TopTuningMag.com, and other key sites.

TV, radio & online distribution

Disney brought 50 young essay contest winners and their families to Walt Disney World Resort for Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living – The Weekend, an inspiring exploration of new ways that “healthy” can be fun and easy. NBN provided media relations, including localized media alerts for the kid’s TV markets, national and localized radio news releases, and a NewsInfusion.com EPK.
