No images? Click here Dear FriendAnyone looking back over the last year knows that the lives we lead today are unrecognisable from how we were living twelve months ago. Many new words have joined our vocabulary and online communication has moved on leaps and bounds. For those grieving over this last year, physical distancing has brought an even more intense loneliness and isolation than usually experienced by bereaved parents. We have been so pleased to be able to offer online support through our day events for both bereaved parents and adult siblings, and these will definitely be continuing over the next few months. However, we are personally facing another major life change as we look towards retirement in the summer. In this newsletter we reflect on our twenty-seven years as members of this ‘club that no one wants to join’. But we are also delighted to be able to introduce you to Dave and Jane Park who will be continuing this important work, leading our volunteer befriender team as they reach out with hope, companionship and comfort to anyone who has experienced the death of their child. With our love Kath and Mike Coulson P.S. We’ve shared our story in this video clip. Click here if you’d like to watch it.
