DIGITAL ME TO BEGIN ITS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

It's official! Exhibits Development Group and Madatech: The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space have finalized arrangements on our latest touring exhibition, Digital Me. While we can't announce our premiere venue quite yet, we know many of you have been waiting to place your reservation and claim your slot. The time has come, so contact EDG today!

Digital Me is a state-of-the-art exhibition dealing with the most relevant topics of today's online world. Whether it's geolocation, facial recognition, AI, computer vision, data privacy, or awesomely fun and wacky insta-filters, Digital Me has it all packed into a 6,500 square foot interactive experience.

In Digital Me, visitors meet themselves in the digital world, witness the traces they leave behind, and explore how their every action and image is preserved and stored in the history of the web. They’ll learn how they appear to others online and how information about them is collected - sometimes without even noticing - and how it can affect them in the future.

Exhibition created by Amir Schorr, curated by Dr. Tal Berman, produced by Madatech: The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space, and distributed by Exhibits Development Group.

THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO: SURVIVAL EXPERIENCE OPENS TO RAVE REVIEWS

With over 18,000 tickets sold prior to the world premiere of The Worst-Case Scenario: Survival Experience, the exhibition continues to outperform expectations as it enters its seventh week on display at The Franklin Institute. The exhibition’s capture rate has exceeded The Franklin’s budgeted attendance by 108%, with the member family segment making the largest difference with capture at 155% to budgeted expectations. The Franklin’s VP of Experience and Business Development, Abigail Bysshe, states:

“We were excited to bring The Worst-Case Scenario to The Franklin Institute to really engage with our members and family visitors. It has been a blast watching people interact in this space and have an engaging, fun time. Even if a kid enters that ball pit in a grumpy mood, they leave with a smile once the avalanche rains down on them. Worst-Case has been a great add-on to our offerings and fits in very well with our overall experience of fun and interactivity.”

If you’d like to experience the exhibition in person, please contact EDG before April 29th so that we can arrange a time for you to meet with our core collaborators. With your institution’s minimum 12-week exhibition booking, EDG will reimburse the cost of your visit. After The Franklin, the exhibition will travel to San Diego for its West Coast premiere.

POMPEII: THE IMMORTAL CITY PREPARES FOR ITS WEST COAST PREMIERE

Forty years after the eruption of Mount St. Helens, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture prepares to remember both its not-so-distant past and the very ancient past, as it finalizes details for its opening of Pompeii: The Immortal City on February 7, 2020.

Visitors can view everything from fishing hooks to frescoes, extraordinarily detailed jewelry, hydraulic valves, medical instruments, and even a perfectly preserved loaf of bread, providing a window into the thriving and surprisingly modern lives of the city’s inhabitants. These unearthed objects confirm the extraordinary heights attained by the Pompeiians, and their inclusion in the exhibition celebrates their scientific accomplishments. Models of machines and 3D reconstructions accompany the visitor in a journey across time and space, while spectacularly immersive multimedia moments allow them to experience the destruction of the city immobilized by volcanic ash.

Told through the lens of STEM, guests will experience Pompeii as never before and discover the impact Roman scientific innovations have had on our lives for thousands of years. Visitors who do not have the opportunity to travel to Pompeii will love exploring the ancient city in your institution.

Exhibition developed by Tempora in collaboration with CIVITA Mostre and Filmmaster
