Tweede deel van het project The bittersweet legacy of communism in Romania. Reflections (I): Dan Perjovschi was in December 2014 te zien bij de KABK.

Young artists reflect on the historical events of 1989. What are the implications of the fall of communism in Romania 25 years ago and how do young artists relate to these topics? What dilemma’s do artists face today?

Reflections (II): Young Artists is the second part of the exhibition project The bittersweet legacy of communism in Romania. Reflections (I): Dan Perjovschi which took place in December 2014 at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague.

“… een historische fout…”

(voormalig wethouder Marnix Norder over het Schenkviaduct)

De theoretische levensduur van het oude, doodzieke en daardoor gevaarlijke Schenkviaduct eindigt in 2016. Dit activistische stadsproject maakt de problematiek zichtbaar in woord en beeld; er wordt ook een protest-song ingezet!

Dit project is een initiatief van Euf Lindeboom (beeldend kunstenaar) & GEMAK. i.s.m. studenten en docenten Graphic Design – KABK (Fay Asselbergs, Evelien Broersen, Shen Fan, Charlotte Gramberg, Veerle Hoefnagels, Janne van Hooff, Lisa Moret, Allisan Salazar, Joany Scheeve, Stephanie Schepel, Pascal Schilp en Yasheng Zhang).

"... a historic mistake ..."

(former The Hague alderman Marnix Norder commenting on the Schenk viaduct)

The theoretical life span of the old, sick and tired - and therefore dangerous - Schenk viaduct in The Hague ends in 2016. This project exposes the issues surrounding the viaduct in word and image; there will even be a protest song.
