section image

Help your student navigate healthcare as an adult by reviewing the healthcare readiness checklist with them before they come to campus! Remind your first time freshman to submit their immunization records, complete part one of AlcoholEdu and Haven before classes begin, and decide whether or not to waive the Primary Care Health Fee. The checklist is available on the Campus Health Website

Reminder of FERPA

FERPA stands for Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. What this means is the educational rights have been transferred from you to your student. They are completely in charge of their educational rights and have to grant you access to their records should they wish for you to have them. For more information on FERPA and what it means for you, check out this article from one of our favorite national blogs, College Parent Central.
