Weekend recipe: a good book and a movie

It's that time of year where spending the weekend at the beach is beginning to be a fond memory. My weekend will include staying indoors to read Bob Woodward's new book Fear: Trump in the White House -- and then, to try to cheer myself up, a movie.

For your own weekend reading pleasure, I present some of my favourites from around The Conversation global network from the last week.

Have a great weekend and we'll be back in your Inbox on Monday.
