Academics

Bible - Birth of Jesus
Verse - Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders; and he will be called, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (We will work on this verse for 2 weeks)
Spelling - Open syllables (go, no, he, she, jumbo, presto)
Reading & Phonics - Read “Seasons”; practice reading words with open syllables; work on main idea
Grammar & Writing - Complete sentences, practice marking sentences; practice finding nouns, adjectives and verbs
Math - Subtraction facts; review measurements; one dozen; liquid measurements
Science/Social Studies - Christmas Around the World

December 1-16: Collecting baby items to be donated; more info soon
December 1: All School Christmas Chapel at Springdale Campus; wear Christmas best
December 9: PJ day (no onesies please); wear tennis shoes too
December 16: Christmas Party @ 12:15 (parents invited); Dismissal at 1:00; no extended care
